The coop is up and the ladies have moved in. I essentially built the entire structure on my own, so I will be the first to tell you, it’s unimpressive and I cut corners. The run is 8’x12’x7′ with a 4’x4′ coop inside. You can read more here.
It was slow-going, as I was constantly waiting on the weather. And it wasn’t easy. Building on a slope on ground that is just full of rocks and roots is challenging, to say the least. All part of the challenge though.
I’ve now built two chickens coops in my lifetime…
